 | Comix Zone is a beat 'em up that takes place in the panels of a comic book. You fight from panel to panel taking on enemies while doing some light puzzle solving. The graphics are amazing with a very unique art style. Branching paths add variety. It's frustratingly difficult with few health pickups and no recovery between levels. One bad fall into a pit requires restarting the game. You even take damage punching objects to get them out of the way! No continues and enemies that take a ton of hits to defeat just make it worse. It's a shame that such a beautiful stylized game has such repetitive and difficult gameplay. |
