 | In Adventure Island II you play as Master Higgins again as you save your girlfriend that's been kidnapped. There are eight islands, multiple stages per island and boss battles at the end of each. In addition to the axe and skateboard from the previous game you can also find dinosaur allies with unique attacks and movements. Stages are shorter with a lot more variety. I like how the dinosaurs not only have different attacks but movement abilities. Also the underwater stages aren't annoying. It's quite difficult and unfortunately jumping requires momentum. This is a big improvement over the previous game. |
