A beat-em up set during the events of the Batman Returns movie from 1992. You play as Batman and have the ability to punch, jump, jump kick, slide kick, spin attack and can use batarangs and a grappling hook. Fight through six stages with a boss at the end of each. There is a hidden scoring system that determines which of four endings you receive. |

Good | Bad | - Graphics style fit the theme of the movie
- Enemies require different tactics to take out
- Side scrolling racing levels to break up the gameplay
- Multiple endings based on damage taken
| - Difficult to trigger the slide kick
- Too easy to trigger the use of weapons
- Only one enemy type on screen at the same time
- Only one life and continue at start of level not each stage
- Later enemies take a lot of hits to defeat

7 | Although there are some control and pacing issues, this late release NES game is a fun albeit repetitive beat 'em up. Ideas like picking up the test tube in a stage to help with the Catwoman boss battle are interesting but not utilized often enough. |
