Loosely based on the TV show RollerGames from 1989, you choose from three different teams with different characteristics as you fight your way through six stages in this beat'em up platformer. Odd number stages have a time limit and are split into multiple styles, the first being a platformer with obstacles to avoid while the other being a more traditional beat'em up. Even number stages are just left to right obstacle courses with no time limit.

GoodBad
  • Requires more than just button mashing
  • Infinite continues
  • Each team has different characteristics and unique special moves
  • Unique premise for a beat'em up
  • Good variety as stages include multiple styles
  • Parallax scrolling in some levels
  • Cutscenes add character to the game
  • Trial and error platforming that requires level memorization
  • Imprecise hit detection
  • Continue from the start of the stage
  • Lots of sprite flicker
  • Have to fight birds and dogs in some stages
  • Special moves are limited to three per stage

7You need to be okay with playing on a constant ice level that requires memorization but if you are, RollerGames is a good beat'em up with varied gameplay. I found it challenging but with enough practice and unlimited continues I was able to get further each time I played.
