6SD The Great Battle: Aratanaru Chousen is a top down platformer shoot'em up with multiple playable characters and multiple helpers. You can unlock additional characters and helpers as the game progresses and each has unique special abilities. This is a crossover of the Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Gundam series. The backgrounds can be quite nauseating and there's slowdown even with not much on screen. It's a simple shooter that would be a lot better without the annoying overhead jumping diagonally onto moving platforms part. It's a decent game that is better if you understand the source material but I probably won't coming back to it often.
