 | Action Fighter is a vertical racing and shoot'em up game where you drive three different vehicles each with weapons. Vehicles include a motorcycle, a race car, and a flying race car. Advancing to the next part of the stage might require collecting dropped letters and you can upgrade you weapons by driving into the back of a SEGA van. It has a good sense of speed but too many compromises were made when converting this from the arcade version and it turned what was a simple action game into a boring, frustrating mess. Annoying enemy patterns, flying segments with a pointless ground attack, and one hit deaths make this not fun. |
