A hack-and-slash where you play as a hero fighting your way up a tower. You can free allies that will fight along side you and battle against bosses at various points. Chests you find contain keys, health, and sometimes traps.

GoodBad
  • Beautiful graphics
  • Can choose what early level to start at
  • Multiple sidekicks to employ
  • Choice of sidekick is important
  • Slowdown everywhere
  • Lack of depth
  • Lots of cheap hits
  • Many levels feel the same
  • Annoying low health sound
  • Knock back on hits is annoying

5Magic Sword shows it's arcade origins with cheap deaths and shallow repetive gameplay. It is still fun for short periods but don't go in looking for much.
