5Magic Sword is a hack-and-slash where you play as a hero fighting your way up a tower. You can free allies that will fight along side you and battle against bosses at various points. Chests you find contain keys, health, and sometimes traps. The graphics are beautiful however there is slowdown everywhere even when not a lot is going on. You can choose what early level to start at which is good because many of the levels feel the same. There's a lot of cheap hits and the knock back on hits is annoying. Magic Sword shows it's arcade origins with cheap deaths and shallow repetive gameplay. I found it fun for short periods but I won't go back to it.
