8Legendary Axe II is the sequel to Legendary Axe and has you playing as a weapon wielding warrior using not just axes this time. There are three weapons you can pick up each with different benefits including a short range but strong axe, a sword, and a morning star that can attack at 45 degree angles. I liked the addition of the new weapons but other than that it's more generic compared to it's predecessor. Removing the strength meter makes combat require less skill and overall it lacks the appeal of the first game. It's still a fun game just not at the same level as the first.
